The Denver Nuggets have a formidable tandem with two players they drafted and grew together to take the team to the NBA Finals.

Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray have become one of the best duos in the NBA this season, and they are already drawing comparisons with other legendary duos.

Miami Heat’s Kyle Lowry was recently asked which duo he could compare Jokic and Murray to, and the playmaker responded with a great answer.

What Tim Duncan and Tony Parker achieved with the San Antonio Spurs is out of reach for Jokic and Murray, but these two have a chance to create something good in Denver.

They’re the perfect match and the Nuggets are taking advantage of that.

Michael Malone has these two players playing at a high level, and they haven’t peaked yet.

Jokic and Murray recorded a triple-double and a double-double respectively in Game 1, and they’re set to continue making history for the rest of the series.

Denver has plenty of talent on the roster, and it all starts with Jokic and Murray.

They will look to win Game 2 of this series to go to Miami with a comfortable advantage and try to sweep the Heat at home, just like they did with the Los Angeles Lakers.
