Former NBA coach calls Skip Bayless ‘an embarrassment to the sports media’

Skip Bayless has once again become a talking point in the sports industry, this time over his split from NFL legend Shannon Sharpe.

Sharpe agreed to a contract buyout with FS1 to leave Undisputed after the NBA Finals, ending his partnership with Bayless.

Now Bayless has made headlines again for the wrong reasons, as former NBA coach George Karl took to Twitter following a rather controversial take on Nikola Jokic.

Bayless claimed Jokic was lucky with most of his shots in Game 2 of the NBA Finals, leading Karl to call him “annoying to the sports media”.

Notably, Coach Karl was never the only one to mince words on anything or anyone; he will simply call it as he sees it.

Plus, Bayless might as well be the NBA players’ least favorite person, as they’re constantly shooting at him.

Bayless’ tenure on ESPN came to an abrupt end after Stephen A. Smith rose to prominence on First Take, leading to Skip joining FS1 to once again have his own show.

Now, it’s unclear what the network will do to replace Sharpe, who had also become an overnight figurehead.

As for Coach Karl, it’s more than likely that Bayless will have a quick response when he returns to TV, so we’ll have to stay tuned to see how this story unfolds.
