Game 2 of the NBA Finals kicks off Sunday night in the Mile High City, with all the pressure on the Miami Heat to win before heading home to face the Denver Nuggets in Games 3 and 4 at Kayesa Center.
One of the keys to securing a victory in Game 2 to tie the series at one game apiece will be the Heat containing star guard Jamal Murray, who always seems to excel in the NBA playoffs, and this year is not different.
In Game 1, Murray finished with 26 points, 10 assists and six rebounds, helping lead the Nuggets to an 11-point road win to start the series.
Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green thinks the Heat should change their strategy on how to contain Murray, with Miami putting Jimmy Butler on the Nuggets star in Game 2, as he said on his podcast via The Volume.
“I think Jimmy can fight hard enough that you can at least contain Jamal Murray better”

It’s not a bad strategy from Green, and it could impact the game if Erik Spoelstra and his coaching staff decide to go this route.
One thing is for sure, the Heat can’t come out with the same strategy and energy as in Game 1 because it was totally ineffective and allowed the Nuggets to win and take the series lead from the start. . door.
The outcome of Game 2 will be crucial to how the rest of the series unfolds, as a win for Miami completely changes the series, and a win for Denver potentially makes it a foregone conclusion that they will lift the Larry O’Brien Trophy when all is said and done.
